#'s to expect
Hey guys. new to the forum. I have a 97 v-6 and plan on selling it soon for a 02 SS.. just wanted to ask a few questions.
Let's say the SS is BONE STOCK. What RWHP should i be expecting with these mods..
1. SLP cold air intake
2. SLP loud mouth 1
3. Y pipe no cats
4. Headers (anybody know a good make for them?)
Will i get a lot of rasp and back firing with the non catted y pipe?
And one more thing.. can somebody explain what a exhaust cut out does?
Help a noob out please

cutout is basically installed someone in the catback that is kinda in a Y shape, its pretty small and you can open the side that isnt connected with the catback (if you can picture what im saying) and it basically makes a short path for the exhaust to go out. instead of going all the way back it goes out right after the headers

thanks man, i needed that info.. really do appeciate it thanks
With the LM you will get quite a bit of rasp with an ORY, it's just the nature of the LM, as far as what headers to get, if you've got the money, a set of stainless Kooks, or QTPs would be a good selection (they'll cost ya tho, figure $1000, or more, after headers and Y) If you have a more modest budget, a set of coated Pacesetters, and TSP Y will only set you back about $500
335-345hp to wheels should be what you get (or there about)
