which cam
Heres the deal guys, I am looking for a good cam that I can get the most power out of and still use my car as a daily driver. I have done a couple searches and everything is just so confusing about cams. Right now I have a 2001 ss, a4, slp lid, flowmaster cat-back, pacesetter lt's with catted y, and a open cut-out. Also will it be necessary to change the springs and everything. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

sounds like you will want at least a 224/224 and maybe up to the low 130's. Which brand? Do your research. Have it tuned afterwards and a torque converter. And yes, you will have to change the springs and such.

Cam requires at least springs and pushrods. You will need a Torque Converter with a larger than factory stall. I would suggest the TC first.
We daily driver our cammed A4. We have a MTI X1, bolt-ons, and a 3400 stall TC. Very fun to drive!

well I'll tell you which one not to get, and that's the thunder racing 220/220, Its a good cam, but doesnt put out much power, go with the thunder 224/ or the one after that 227 or something, (if you go thru thunder racing). But you got to change springs no question about that and if you want a 220/220 i got one i'll sell you

I would say that you probably should look into getting a stall first...I'd say 3200 or higher. I think that a cam in the range of the MTI X1 would be a great choice...something at least 224 on up to about 232 duration for a daily driver.
