where is the Idle screw ?
where is the Idle screw ? Hi,
I had a cam install and the tune won't be done for 2 weeks, so they told me that the idle can be controlled by a screw on the throttle body,
I can't find this screw on the throttle body,
can anyone tell me specifically where this is?

There is an idle screw on the LS1 TB. it's located by the bumpstop and is installed upside down from the factory
you're right,
it's a pain in the *** to get to, but it works

It actually doesnt change your idle speed, its your minimum idle airflow. It just adjusts how your IAC responds....it should help your idle as it lets your throttle plate allow more air in and doesnt make your IAC compensate for as much.
