dbl row chain vs. single chain on LS1

Getting ready to change out my timing chain along with other mods. Does anyone known if anything has to be done different putting in a dbl chain instead of staying with the single chain? Do I need a different size cover?

I have a Crane double. It comes with new sprockets, and spacers to put under the oil pump. The chain is thicker and requires the pump to move out about .090".
