Default New cam in stock motor.

Is there any gain in putting a cam in my stock ls1 ??? And if so, which do you guys think would work good?

you could do Thunder Racings cheaTR cam...it's made to work well with stock manifolds....other than that do Longtubes and then look intoo cams or a converter if your an auto

dont mean to sound like an *** but, YEAH, there is! That is why so many people, including me, do replace the cam. There are more threads here than you can imagine on cams and which one to get. I put down 373rwhp/375rwtq with the cam I have in the sig with stock manifolds(intake and exhaust). i just had a cutout and a K&N intake.

Just make sure you put in appropriate springs with your cam, otherwise...your motor will be done for.
