Default Need some help

Ok so i know this has been posted many times but i need advise on my car its a 2000 slp m6 ss i have true duals, no cats, slp cia, smooth bellow, and the free mods. I am lookin to get to the 400hp mark so I am goin to start with a cam and some longtubes. so the question is which cam, i need one that still wont kill me to drive it but i wan it to have an aggressive sound and make good power. I also dont want to rev it extremely high maybe stay around the 6000-6500 range. let me hear your opinion and let me know how close this will get me to 400 hp, it will also be tuned when these are installed. (this is my weekend car not the daily driver but it does go out of state and to car shows regularly)

Do you have headers or a ls6 intake?? If not a cam isn't going to get you to 400 rwhp. On my old setup full boltons with a TR224 cam I made 392hp/386tq at the wheels. Go with alittle bigger cam than that and you'll be where you want to be.

I dont have longtubes yet, but they will be goin on at the same time as I do a cam. I plan on doin an ls6 intake but I want to take care of the cam and longtubes just wanting opinions on what kinds of cams
