Need advice. AFR head options
I am in need of some replacement heads. i am interested in the ETP heads but cannot seem to find myself waiting for two months then turns into three months. with that said whats the difference of running afr 205 vs small 225
and whats a good combo to go with for a new cam

The most proven all-around performance "package" for a 346 is the AFR 205s along with the AFR 224/228 .581/.588 114LSA (+1) cam. This package will make power both low and high and has good street manners. A more aggressive combination would be AFR 205s with a Thunder Racing TRak cam or an LG Motorsports G5X-3 cam. Both are proven to put out big numbers.
I did back to back testing of the AFR small bore 225s vs the AFR 205s with a TRak cam, FAST 90/90. I only gained 5rwhp/5rwtq, but in the process lost quite a bit of street manners and fuel economy. Not a good trade off in my view. The 205s made 487 rwhp in race form. That should be enough to satisfy most individuals.
