clearance question on 6.0 block
im trying to make a decision on either buying a short block or buying the stuff my self and have a local shop do the machine work. i think i can save money on the actual parts( assemblie) but im trying to find how much block work it would intail.. QUESTION IS how much clearance and block work does it take to make either a 402 or a 408 out of a 6.0.i know about the bore and honing and cleaning but more worried about the acutal crank clearance.. thanks
