Use the cam sprocket for a base for it too. Youll have to grind out a way to get that wire through though. Maybe you could use washers to make a gap.

My new Crane Cam for my LS2 418cid. is drilled all the way threw ,1/2" hole

I'll see if I can find the pics of the lamp I welded together out of a brake rotor, cam and a light socket from the local hardware store It was a heavy bitch!!
