Default low oil lovel code with full oil ??? WTF

I took my Y2K C5 for a nice drive last week. The car ran great up to a friends house, put some ZO6 ducts on a car and left.
Before we left, I had the A/F ratio slightly adjusted so the RPMs didnt drop at an idle. I started the car , and started to drive home . The car was running great. I think the second time I got on the car, the low oil level code came on, and I reset it. I had checked the oil the night before and it was full. A couple minutes later the code came back up and I pulled off the road to check the oil. I shut the car and checked level, and it was still full. Pressure was always 40-55 PSI
battery gauge showed between 13-14 volts while driving. When I checked my battery and oil the night before and the battery volts 12.9 or 12.03 with the car off.
On the drive home, The low oil level code hit 15-20 times. when I got home, and let the car cool, I checked the oil again, and it was full

Any idea what could cause this?

A bad low oil level sensor and check the wiring of the sensor while you are down there.

In the oil pan, on the passenger side, near the back.

I think Im going to give it a couple cycles, change out my 6 year old OEM battery, and see what it does before I change the sensor

Update.
I drive the car for a couple cycles, and the code does not come up anymore.
