TR 230 Reverse Split
Im thinking about installing a tr230 cam into my stock 01 M6 TA. Ive got the 918 springs, titanim retainers, and hardened pushrods. Im getting an LS2 timing chain because u have 50k on the clock. Will I have to replace anything like the springs after several thousand miles. Basically is anything going to wear out quicker and how will this effect the durability of my engine? Will I see 150k-200k out of her?
Also I have the stock 10 bolt and dont plan on going to the track. You think ill be fine as long as im not dumping the clutch and stuff.
Thanks Rya

1. Ls2 chain is a great idea.
2. several thousand is like 15-20+ Is it a XE or XE-R lobed cam?
3.Yes. Springs/ Rockers/ lifters. Your valvetrain will wear out faster...but over a period of time.
4.Maybe
5. You might want a better clutch if you still have the stocker. 10 bolt will work if you arent crucifing it from a dead stop.

Im not really sure wether its an XE or XE-R lobed cam.
Its the tr 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA
How long do you think I will have on the valvetrain? like 20k miles?
What will i have to replace and are there any particular noises to look out for?
Thanks
Ryan

Thunder originally told me 10k change interval on the 918's with my tr230 but they have since increased that. You'd have to check with them to get their official number now.
