Default What cam with 5.3 stage 2 heads

What cam would work best with my setup. I am going to be installing a set of Patriot stage 2 5.3 liter heads along with SLP LTS with an ORY, LS6 intake with a Whisper lid, and a Fuddle 4000 converter with a tranny cooler. I also plan on getting a set of 3.73 gears.

I originally intended on this being a cam only car with the TRex. This has obviously changed. I have been told it will not be worth the extra effort required to make the TRex work with aftermarket heads and I should choose a different cam.

My goal for the car is essentially a wickedly quick daily driver with a great sounding idle (I want them to KNOW I'm going to be faster than them).

I would like a cam that takes advantage of all of my mods, including the to be installed 3.73s and 4000 stall. Some have said the MS3, some have said the G5X3, some the TRAK.

What would you all do? I'd like max hp from this application-driveabilty isn't really that great of a factor as I think I can handle sacrificing a bit of tameness for speed. What about the G5X4 or TRex, are the gains to be seen with these not worth the xtra work of milling and flycutting?

OPINIONS PLEASE! Include a custom grind if you'd like! Thanks

A nice 228 range cam will be sufficient if you setup your combo the right way.
First get your heads back from Gunnar and get the full scoop on them (mill? Chamber size etc...)
Then get a custom cam to fit the flow characteristics without flycutting. Use a .040>.045 gasket for quench, get your DCR in the 8.5>8.7 range.
You'll make more useable power that way than a monster cam.

How much power could I expect to see with the 228?
I've kept it somewhat modest with the heads due to the price I was able to get them for-however, I'd like to go all out with the cam and go fairly extreme and possibly get a 90/90 setup in the future. Would a 228 yield the best numbers?
Other opinions?
TTT for the night!

TTT for the morning guys.
F13 sounds nice-any other opinions? I'd like the most power with the setup from 4k-6800 rpms with a sick sounding idle.

I have a 235/240 113 custom cam from TSP that will be up for sale soon. Those heads and my cam (mentioned above) should get you a little over 400 at the wheels. Those heads outflow the heads that were on my car by a long shot and with the horrible flowing heads that were on my car it put down 384/460
