Question Valvetrain selection help needed

Application: 402 stroker, 243 cast cnc'd heads

Cam: Comp XER 238/240 .605/.609 112 LSA

Pushrods: I think I'm ok here with Manley 5/16" chrome moly pushrods from SLP

Lifters: Right now my LS6 lifters (whatever comes with a 2004 LS6 service engine ?? ) have about 4000 miles on them. Should I change them? Suggestions?

Valvtrain: Need some help here too. Looking for the complete kit. Done some research on some Comp 921's (Wow! expensive like $650 for the kit)
Patriot Golds (much more reasonable like $250 for the kit) Please make me some suggestions. I'm concerned with reliability. When you compare these two do you get what you pay for?

Rockers: Right now I'm running 1.8:1 rockers with my current setup. This will push me too close to the limit on the springs kits above (~0.645" with max. allowed in the kits =0.650".) I'm not building a race motor so I need these springs to last.
Should I look into a good set of 1.7 shaft rockers? Recommendations for shaft rockers or regular style?

I am running stock GM lifters in my engine, there doin fine. I also run the PRC gold spring kit. I have about 6k miles on them (at .625 lift) with no issues.

Valvetrain should be the best stuff you can afford ...when you take into concideration one broke spring or valve can wreck a whole engine...When I had my stuff I had 500 in valves 700 in rockers 350 in springs and 25 bucks per retainer.. and it was a hyd roller motor T&D rockers PSI springs Xcledyne retianers......Manley valves

PRC dual spring kit is fine. Good to either .660 or .670 lift on the platinum (can't remember) Pushrods are fine, lifters probably not a good idea to keep stock, you would need comp r's. But if you got comp r's you need adjustable rockers. If you got adjustable rockers you wouldn't need the comp r's because it would bring lift back down.

So....buy some adjustable rockers 1.7 ratio. And get the PRC platinum spring kit. I think I would still opt for the comp r rockers though just to be safe.
