Identifying a cam?

Identifying a cam? Is there a way to identify my cam by the numbers on the end. In other words I just bought an 02 LS6 cam, and wanted to know if I could double check that it was in fact an LS6 and didn't know if those numbers would tell me. I trust the guy, but just thought I would check.
