Help with cam choice!!!
Sorry to post another "what would you pick" thread but I have recently recieved vast sums of money and want to get a heads/cam setup for my car! Had it for a whole year and am really excited to finally be able to afford it.
Need opinions now.
Car is 99 ss daily driver, but I can handle any inconveinences with driveability. Am looking for 11 second times. Don't want to sacrifice to much torque (love that low end power)!! But I know that i am going to lose low end inevitably. Please tell me what I need to have to get my et in the 11's.
I really like the prc ls6 heads from tsp and thought those might be the best way to go. Please let me know if you disagree!
Thanks!

Get the cheater cam...You can have the best of both worlds. you still have your lowend and you have your cam....oh, and the driveability is still there.
Vast sums of money = AFR 205's
Well, you might be limited in your choices with that 3600 stall as well. You want to match the converter to the motor. I believe that you are looking for a cam somewhere in the range of 228-236 for what you want to achieve. Sounds to me by saying that you can live with driveability issues such as bucking and what not that you are looking for a bigger sized cam than the tr224.
Am I right?
