I think the reason people are not making power with this intake is just a simple carb spacer.

Open spacer for mid to top end performance.

the ports in a box-stock victor are pretty small...need to be port matched at a minimum too

Flow #'s don't mean alot. 280cfm can feed a 800hp motor.

also...cam choice is ALOT different from what you'd put on a LSX type intake....

not sure if you are referring to me, but my heads were ported by a local guy. cylinderheadspecialites.com

I will be having him port match the intake and I will be getting a specific ground cam.

you guys act like "porting" an intake is a big deal.. like its something thats unexpected for a performance motor.

if you look beyond the "LS1 world" you'll see its the norm to matchup and cleanup alum intakes for any kind of performance motor.


i think you guys just got spoiled with your factory accurate ports and identically made injection molded plastic intakes

yup. I started racing with LS1's so I am spoiled like that.
