We got the combo 97% buttoned up tonight and decided to fire it up even though we still needed to fabricate a bracket for the tank. Started it up and the vacuum pump is certainly doing its job, crankcase vacuum is ~8-9 inches/hg. The weird thing is the idle seems to be better than before. The car has recently been flashed and really no time for the LTIT and STIT to learn. Car seems to hit and stick @ idle alittle better than before. I ain't going to question it.

Another thing we noticed was when the motor is cold before the vacuum pump we would see alittle smoke out of the oil cap. Now the exhaust on the vacuum pump is clean.
