Well I've gone almost a full year without a fbody, I picked up my 01 z28 lastnight around 12 p.m. from a friends dad for $7500 with only 53,000 miles. I have a couple of questions. I use to be able to answer these for myself but ive been out of the gamefor a lil bit and so on. Im wanting to make this car a cam only car, I've gone the built motor route with my old ws6 "Yes it was faster than ****, but i didnt like the fact that i drove it daily". Which cam would yield decent power gains and a somewat bit of streetability? Ive been looking at the ms3, but id like yalls input!

 

we all have different deffinitioins of streetable... MS3 is quite large cam for our cars... i would say that it is a bit large i would go with a 228/228 or a 224/224, both of these with boltons

if you looking to just put a cam in w/o boltons go for the cheatr... near stock sounding idle and near stock powerband

 

Ive already got pacesetter longtubes, and a llid on the way, so itll end up being a bolt on cam car. im looking for rwhp numbers from 390rwhp on up

 

yeah the tr224/224 will be right around 390 rwhp anything bigger than that cam will obviously yield more

 

Well after reading some and watching termin8r's videos i think i will be ordering the ms3 as soon as i get payed this week!
