You guys know what I may be wrong here.

I am not at home but I am sitting here thinking that the wires needed for the 2-step and the retard arent there......

That is going to **** me off if that is the case because I even double, triple checked with BOTH edelbrock AND MSD tech support before I bought it and then I called back again today and they once again stated that it is the same box......

Well guys looks like I get to see what crow tastes like.

I finally got through to the Edelbrock head guy and he informed me that "Although they are ESSENTIALLY the same, there are some differences"

3 to be exact:
1. the Edelbrock has no provision for the 2-step
2. the Edelbrock has no provision for the nitrous retard
3. the Edelbrock has no ability to program the ignition curve

Basically it is NOTHING like the MSD controller.

It will link to the pro-data software for monitoring purposes only.

So now I get to try and get Summit to accept the return of a ported intake or to take back only the edelbrock controller of which there is no individual part number.....Summit is excellent and have always worked with me so maybe just maybe this wont be a disaster.

To ty-ty13, you were right. I wish we had this discussion 3 weeks ago........
