Default Head Porting Suggestions

I'm looking for a reliable and affordable place to get my 241 heads ported I've heard good things about TSP and Patriot Performance. Any other good suggestions? I'd also like a few suggestions for a cam choice, thanks for the help.

There are a ton of places to take yrou business, that all depends on what you wanna spend. PRC, TEA, and Patriot all have great choices for a great price. I am kinda partial to TEA, but you cant go wrong with pretty uch any sponsor on the board. What are your specific goals and what cam?

At this point w/o the heads or cam, try and look for proven combo's to see what will work well together. For street application maybe look at a cam around a 228ish duration. If you get the 4.10's then you should be able to get a bit bigger than that w/ no problem. If you have emissions to be concerned with, look at the TR224 on 114. Basically like it's mentioned above, it'll depend on ur goals. I have a TR224 now and want a bigger lope cause I like the sound, but if I go with too much more duration I need to start worrying about other things like PTV clearance and flycutting the pistons.

I was considering the TR 230/236 cam with ported heads, the website says that that cam made 410 hp 390 lb-ft with stock heads and 4.30 gears, does anyone run this cam? I definately don't mind a lopey idle but I'd like it to idle steadily with tuning.
