Market price Lobster or market price Steak.
I would take the 224/228 ANYDAY myself.
That is a very well proven very strong running cam. I would perfer it on a 112 or maybe a 112+2 or maybe even a 110 depending on your other mods but IMO the 224/228 cam is a better cam the the Patroit 226 cam. HOWEVER both can work Very Well in the right setup.
I just perfer a 2 or 4 degree intake to exhaust split.
If your tight on money the 226 will work fine and save you a few bucks.

those cams are so close in size, remember bigger and more agressive doesnt mean its better either

Assuming both are on the same lobe style, the 226 cam is bigger, but I'd rather have the 224/228 any day.
