Default Possible bad engine

I just bought an lq4 and was checking it so I decide to test it so try to turn the crank pully with my socket and it only turns a little and then no budge I mean it wouldn't go past a 1/4 turn to the left or the right does this mean the engine is bad cause I still have the waranty from the junkyard thanks.

Take the spark plugs out and try to turn it.

If it still won't, take it back.
