engine running rough & sometimes backfires...help please
engine running rough & sometimes backfires...help please ok my motor has about 100 miles on it. oil pressure is fine. it runs pretty rough though, especially around 2000 where i let the clutch out. i dont think it is a miss. also my motor still has the old tune from the heads/cam setup but i dont think that would cause it to run rough. any guess where to start?
also sometimes when i shift or rev the motor up, it will backfire. not crazy loud but i can definatly hear it, and this is only sometimes.
i heard to check the balancer and check my knock sensors too.
could it be the plugs? it does not feel like a miss though.
