push rod length advice
push rod length advice I have a stock 2002 5.7 block, 224/224/114 cam, 64cc force fed stage 2 heads, unmilled, (these are patriot 6.0 317 castings with welded and cnc'd chambers), stock 6.0 gaskets, new comp 850 lifters.
I used 7.4 hardened rods, but the combination is much noisier than I was expecting
Do i need longer pushrods to take up the smaller base circle cam?
how do I check?
I have done a search but need a blow by blow guide for checking the push rod length
