eh?

Think you may need to provide a little more info.

The LS1 setup are you referring to a stock LS1 or if not which heads and cam.

Same goes for the LS6 setup.

the stock ls1 vs the stock ls6, just say i chose to put on a ls6 manifold, heads, and a cam on my ls1 engine. what would that do compared to a ls1 stock? im looking for a 400/420 range (rwhp/trq)

Man stock LS6 is around 405 fhp.
Putting those parts on an LS1 will get you just that, maybe a few more with a tune and headers.
No where near 400 rwhp for sure, more like 340 ish, 350>360 tuned with LTs

Also depends on whether it's from an '01 or '02-up. My stock LS6 ('O2) with headers, and no tune has 379RWHP.
