Default Difference in LS1 Heads?
What is the difference in the LS1 heads 241 vs the older 853 heads. From what I understand was that the 241's came on 01 and 02 LS1s.

one is sand cast and one is something else. *supposedly* the 241 are a little better but not worth swaping over. if you get them cnc'd they will be equal.

aren't the 853's the ones on 98's and had perimeter bolt valve covers
