Default Individual Runner LS1 intake Manifold

Who makes it?

Is it worth any gain on H/C or turbocharged LS1 engines?

Harrop makes the only somewhat affordable one at $3500 US. Yes they have good gains over the single tb intakes that we have here in the US. Gains range from 30 rwhp on stock cars to 70+rwhp on 400+ cubes. Not to mention the driveability you gain with them. Only problem is wether they will fit or not. I have one on order that is supposed to be here any day. After it gets here, I'll start doing the test fitting.

I almost bought one too My avitar is the harrop intake. The coolness factor with that thing would be off the charts. I have a bunch of pictures of one if you would like me to email them to you. Shoot me an email scott.owen@robins.af.mil and i'll get them too you.

How about LS1 intake that put the TB in Vertical position similar to Edelbrock Carb intake but for EFI.

Edelbrock Victor Jr. LS1 EFI Intake Manifold.

Did anybody try it? Any gains over LS1/LS6 intakes? Will stock/aftermarket LS1 TB work with it?

IR intakes are for NA cars. Unless you somehow find a way to feed all 8 holes...

The big thing with those is, each cylinder remains uncontaminated from reversion from large camshafts with lots of overlap. That is a problem with normal intake manifolds, and its actually what makes the car "lope". Those things would probably make a T-Rex sound like a baby.

Capable of supporting up to 600 hp
3500-7500 rpm

Is that true?
Is any improvment over LS6 inake?
Does it come close to Fast Intake in performance?

I don't know if the video is still there...but they had a Holden Commodore with an ENORMOUS cam idling like it was stock with a Harrop Intake on their website. I don't see why you couldn't duct air to all 8 cylinders for forced induction. At part throttle the butterflies would still help isolate cylinders and it'd behave like a typical ITB car, and at larger throttle angles as the turbo's spool, it wouldn't matter anymore anyways. I can see creation of an airbox for either side on the outside of the TB's allowing for you to do some very cool stuff. I can't stomach $3500+ for an intake though...

Then you'll be happy to know they raised their prices to $4350USD + $400 in shipping to the US.

That is the Edelbrock EFI Victor jr. It has it's advantages, but usaully requires cutting the windsheild cowl to fit the TB and elbow on. I still haven't seen anything stellar enough for me to want to put one on. JMO.

Good i found the thread i was looking for. Search is somewhat my friend.
As some time has gone by now has any body seen any more results using the victor jr intake. Ive read of clearnce issues care to go into more detail? How much does one of those elbows cost? I guess it would depend on the elbow as to which tb would fit. Mybe the new pp 96mm could be put on here in a while. Just trying to shed some more light on thise as i couldnt find much. i think the thread might need to go to externel.
