Very streetable, lays down good numbers of usable tq as opposed to being a dyno queen cam, will make great power with those heads. Many people have had great results from that cam.

AMAZING! I just installed it in my buddy's 01 z28 and it rocks. Drivability is like stock. It cruises in 6th at 1100 rpm with no buck or surge at all. Pulls hard too. Did I mention how much it drives like stock? I wouldnt go any less than the dual springs though.
mods are:
cam kit
FLP LT's
LS6 (duh)
cats and Hooker muffler
K&N intake
BBK 80mm TB
LS7 clutch w/LS2 flywheel
stock gears (3.42) its an M6

Hope this helps

If I remember right that cam has a little over .600 right? If you break a spring, imagine the damage

Just thought id copy and paste this. I thought it was only to .600 but tsp wrote in the description the following.

Comp Cams "918" Stock-Diameter Replacement Springs

Beehive Shape Ovate Wire Springs
The 26915 and 26918 Valve Springs are specifically designed for the LS1 Chevrolet cylinder head and
can be used as stock replacements or in performance applications all the way up to 0.625” lift and at engine speeds to 7500 RPM. Engineered to fit stock heads with no machining, utilizing the stock valve seat and spring retainer. This valve spring can also be used in all applications with the specifications list-ed.

Just ask TSP what seat pressure is recommended and shim the springs accordingly.
It is not only breakage you have to worry about but more valve float.
On a cam of this size that can be very damaging to your pistons (Kissy-Kissy)

It doesn't matter, you can still shim them.
BTW, I would run Titanium Comp retainers too, since you want the ligthest effective moving valvetrain mass with those ramps.

Yeah i made the same mistake as you, I ordered to prc heads and the 918 spring package, with the 233/239 cam kit, what i did was called up tsp and asked them if i could send back the 918 springs and upgrade to the prc spring package, not only are they good to .650" but they also come with the tit ret's for only $100 more versus buying the 918 spring kit and the tit's seperately they cost like $240 extra that way.

i have that cam in my truck right now and its my daily driver. it fine under 2000 rpm. my does ldle at 625rpm. and it has never stalled on me. it does make good power. that cam is in my 2500HD, ecsb and it went 15.1@96mph with a set of MTI stage 2 heads. I want to go bigger in my truck now that i know it runs perfect with that cam. i would recommend not going with the comp 918's i have precision springs and they work great.
