Default Short duration solid roller

There has been a lot of chat on here lately about new torquey cams and LSK lobes. The trend seems to be going away from lopey and toward relatively small cams with big HP numbers. I'm just trying to extrapolate this trend. I know LSK lobes are quick, but has anyone considered going solid lifter and short duration.

It seems like there might be an emerging market for a solid roller cheaTR (or version of Patricks latest bumpstick) that squeezes every last drop out of that short duration. I think there would be significant gains to be made and after pulling the valve covers on my car several times I don't think adjusting lash would be that much of a chore. Havent done springs in the car yet though...

just thinkin', Nick
