You can get the gasket install kit from Thunder Racing, it even comes with a new crank bolt.
gasket package
you are right there at the oil pump, change if you want to, I did not, but know people who do.
You will need a longer crank bolt to put the crank pulley back on. Its like M16 x 2.0 pitch x 120mm long, and some washers.
Use the write up on www.ls1howto.com, it is great.
Hardened pushrods can be put in, I am still using the stockers, but am upgrading soon.

what cam?
new springs if the lift is high, I recommmend the 918's if your below 600 lift, you'll also need a inch pound tq wrench ans big *** foot pound wrench, some rtv for the timing cover to seal to the oil pan, It is also a good idea to change the timing chain depending o n your mileage and lift you may need a double rollmaster, I also would get the more tool, and the installation rods, or the wooden dowls of the same diameter and lenght. I would definatley get hardened push rods as well.
