I have been reading until my eyes are glazed over and can't fine the exact answer. Has anyone weighed a iron block 5.3 and a LS1 aluminium blocks and or engines to know the exact weight difference? I have to make adjustments for the weight and just can't seem to find the answer.

Also, I just shipped a 5.3 shortblock (no heads, intake, etc) in a small crate and it weighed 360lbs.
