Default LS2 cam into 05 yukon?

Ok, so I got the GT2-3 put in, and the stock cam in the box. I'm wondering if my stock LS2 cam will work in a '05 5.3 or 6.0 Yukon / Denali, and what else I'd need for the swap. Does the LS2 (385HP LS6??) cam and stock 5.3 / 6.0 cam have the same base circles, and will the 5.3 / 6.0 valve springs / rest of the valve train be sufficient? What kind of gains do you think would be seen on this combo with a good tune?

Didn't GM eliminate the reluctor ring in front of the last bearing journal on true LS2 cams? If so, it won't work with an engine that still uses the rear cam position sensor.

The LS2 cam is just an early model Z06 cam
