Im posting for a buddy who's gotta 99 t/a. He is rebuilding the engine and using an 01' crank from my old motor. He claims there is a drastic diff in the reluctor wheel, they dont look anything alike i guess from his orig 99 to the 01.

I know there is a 24X and 58X style wheels. w/o changing wheels, what needs to be done to make the crank sensor function work correctly? new sensor? case learn?
