Default Cam Question

Will cam with those specs work with a stock LS1? Or is the lift too high.. also, would this give me lopey idle?
Specs are:
Dur @ .050 234/240
Lobe seperation 112
lift .598/.608
Dur @ .006 283/289
Grind #LS1 3727R /3730R HR112.0
Serial# B 1061
Part# 54-000-11

yes that will fit under stock heads, no problem.

yes, you would have a lopey idle.

You don't know until you check as far as fittament goes. Don't take someone's word for it and not physically check yourself with questionable sizes.

BTW there is 13* of overlap on that cam. you will have some lope no problem.
Might want to upgrade the entire valvetrain with new parts.

For future reference the cam is considered Internal Engine. Please redirect your questions concerning cams and internals to that section.

Yes that should fit. Where did you get those specs/see that cam? All of our sponsers have cam grinds that WILL fit instead of should fit. Valve clearance has alot to do with valve events too, it's not entirely based on lift.

What doesn't fit is this thread in the external section!
