Default Best Heads For Buck $$ ???

hey guys i was just wondering what heads would give me the best gains for the dollar based on my mods. STOCK bottom end, lingenfelter intake manifold,
VORTECH supercharger W/ aftercooler @ 8psi, G5X3 Camshaft/New Springs&Hardware, ported T.B.,Longtubes, 3inch Offroad Y, ALSO i have a TNT F1 nitrous kit........dont know that ill ever use it BUT its there. Which heads make the best POWER FOR THE DOLLAR THAT MEANS NO AFR's. If im only going to gain 30-40 rwhp i think i can spend 2 GRAND doing something better with the engine. ALL these items are waiting to be installed so i just figured if i can spend a little bit of money while im already in there why not do some heads. ARE THERE ANY THAT ARE WORTH THE MONEY!?....please hurry and be specific this is my first time doing these kinds of mods and seeing this stuff waiting to go on the car is killing me.

AFR's JK
It would seem the AFR or the ET heads would be better with your set-up. seems safer. specially with each using thicker head deck which is def needed if your blown and spraying. Pay the little extra and do it right the first time... Usually whenever i answer to a head question I would try to lean them toward the prc heads from tsp but im not sure how long theyd hold up under that much pressure. If that makes sense.

While AFR would be the best, I'm just gonna answer your question.
PRC 243 casting stage 1 with dual springs (LS2 heads)
Also put some money into MLS gaskets and studs.

You will be FI, how do you want anyone to answer that?
NA the heads are worth a healthy 30 rwhp (depending on combo)

The PRC ported Street heads should work very well for you. I'd put them against just about any of the cylinder heads priced ANYWHERE near them. They recently picked up over 50rwhp on a customers cam only car. I think you could pickup some nice power on a boosted application! We have LS6 & LQ9 versions of the head incase your wanting to kill some compression. One thing you need to keep in mind is several of the heads will increase your compression. Just call me if you need a set & I'll cnc on the chamber some to give you a little bigger LS6 chamber so you don't go up in compression.

PRC stage 1 has stock valves so they will clear.
I was talking about the Dart with bigger valves.

Forget the TNT, there is no way your stock block will handle 2 power adders, and that cam has too much overlap for a Supercharger.
Who put this combo together for you?
IMO if either dich the cam for a Supercharger friendly one, or ditch the supercharger and run G5X3 with juice.

I was thinking the same thing! G5X3 + Juice + FI =

If you've already spent the cash on FI stay w/ it and get a SC friendly cam.

umm, maybe its just me, but if i had a forced induction car, i would NOT buy heads right now.

i mean, you just need to turn up the boost until you're out of your compressors efficiency range far enough that the intercooler cant compensate for the higher IATs... only then do you need less intake restriction to make more power.

and by the time you're at that level, you should be looking at changing the supercharger model anyway, so heads are still a moot point.. you're not worried about sucking air in efficiently... you're shoving it in there.
