Unhappy Another ticking thread

Ok i did a search and i didnt see anyone with my exact symptoms.

The car is a 99 SS with MS3 Cam with PRC dual springs and hardened pushrods, ls6 oil pump, and headers and professional tune.

The cam has been in the car for a couple thousand miles now with no problem and then the other day i hear this ticking which speeds up with higher revs and gets louder. My car feels like it breaks up and looses power at higher rpms. My check engine light also came on. I havent been able to pin point exactly where the ticking is coming from but it does seen just a little louder on the drivers side but you can hear it pretty much anywhere you put your ear in the engine bay. Im guessing this is not a header cause of the power lose but im not sure. I checked the rockers on the drivers side and the header bolts and they were all tight. I do need to check things on the passenger side as well just in case. I get good oil pressure too... always 40 or higher

So does anybody have any ideas? Plugs? Wires? lifer? exhaust leak?

I've the exact same setup except for the tune and I'm dealing with the exact same noise coming from the drivers side. I'm thinking it's a lifter, but have yet to figure it out.

My guess would be a lifter based on the noise. Do you let your car warm up pretty well before driving it?

Ok the code its throwing is a multiple misfire but i kinda figured that since it was missing in the higher rpms.
