Default LS6 Springs

What lift are they good to?

I am thinking that if I can get away with them that would last longer than the 918s being they are a OEM part.

I dont plan on going any bigger that a .575 lift.

IIRC, the '02 & up LS6 springs are good to ~.570 lift. I'd go with 918's for a .575 lift cam.

Ive seen where they are supposed to be good to .580 lift and I have also seen where they are good to .550 lift.

I just got some to use as a replacement spring for the 6.0L Heads I about to install, but Im stayin with my stock (LS1) cam or maybe a ZO6 cam, so they will be more than enough for my spec at this time.

I've tested two sets of Z06 springs.
1.150" for one
1.156" for the other set.

With an install height of 1.80" this leaves room for .600" lift even giving .050" for clearance.

If you run a taller install height of say 1.85" you get another .050"

The issue with these springs will be pressure on the seat. Unless you're running the lighter weight Z06 valves, you may run into problems there.
Of course shimming them for more pressure takes away travel before bind is reached.
