its called the cam blank.

instead of having egg shaped lobes, the entire cam lobe is shaped like a circle.
this lowers frictional loss, since the lifters do not have a egg shaped wall to climb up and down with every two engine rotations.

(if you have to use the word "best" in any technical question, you need to re-define the question more accurately before you can get any kind of usable or accurate response.)

There isnt a best in general there will be give and take to every choice a custum grind for your application is what you will want if your looking for the "best" cam.
In general though you want high lsa with more exhauste duration and more intake lift.

You need to post more info. Motor size, how big of a shot, M6/A4, etc. Too many variables to make a call like "best" cam for nitrous.

If you aren't building an all out nitrous motor then it doesn't really matter. 99% of the cams on the market will react just fine to it.

I've always heard that it doesn't make a big difference until you are spraying over a 200 shot.
