Questions on checking for quench..
Questions on checking for quench.. Okay guys I have used the search and have seen the topic beat to death but am in the process of selecting the propper head gasket for my application and have some questions about checking the piston deck height to figure into the equation, What is the proper way to check the piston hieght? It seems like it is zero but I want to set this unit up correctly and would like to know if there is a specific right or wrong way. Is it a simple as using my caliper?
What would be the best quench to shoot for in a motor that will be using a large shot?
