If it just started when you put the cam in, then its probably the cam doing it. If you have a big cam you don't get as much vacuum as you did before. I don't know the normal reading, so its hard for me to say. If you think you do have a vacuum leak an easy way to check is to start you car and open the hood. Spray some brake cleaner on all the hoses and stuff (make sure it IS flammable). If you have a leak and you spray over it, the vacuum will suck the brake cleaner into the motor, and since its combustible, it will make your motor rev slightly. Hope this helps!

I would say so, I idle at between 55 and 58 KPA with a measly 232/234 cam.

honestly i have made leaps and bounds today...

Idles steady at 900-1000 rpm to surging or fluctuating.

When coming to a stop idle goes straight to normal and stays there without a problem

AFRs are getting spot on

And the drivability is getting very close to stock. I have to keep the rpms a little higher than i used to, and at any throttle or speed there is no bucking except for one bad spot at 1500 rpm in 5th gear at around 50 miles an hour.

I am pretty impressed with how well it is coming out this far...

And this is with 5-6 hours on tuning by a rookie(me)

A also recently recived a tuning file from a member on efilive.com that may help me start out with a little better base to build on that i will try tomorrow.
