Default OK whats the latest on Rockers..

I see the stock rockers are failing as usual all over the place and I wasnt going to worry about it but I dont think I can let that stock **** on my car. Bad enough they are on my Avalanche too.

On a stock car...besides Nasty Nates upgrade rockers..what are the other options? How about those Crane Poly-something. Lightweight, full roller, non-adjustable, no valvecover machining...am I asking too much? 2006 and no aftermarket choice? Im asking..

the crane polymatrix rockers are shaft rockers. major modifying to the heads and need for valve cover spacers. http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...0.HTMLPAGE.htm

I guess Harland Sharp 1.7 non-adjustable are the best option...anyone have an opinion on them?

A dealer is the only place to get that bolt but im sure there are zillions laying around in garages and shops if someone can hook you up.

Harland sharp and yella terra's are the only two I know that are priced somewhat reasonable and need no mod's to make them fit. Nasty's are a good option!

I love my Crane Race Golds. I tried the Harland Sharps but they required major grinding to get them to fit in my AFR heads. I've taken off the Crane's and put them back on at least 3 dozen times and still they look brand new (as well as the adjusting nuts and lock screws). As a matter of fact, I have a set of 1.8's for sale for less than half price with nuts and screw (no studs or guidplates).

My TA had Pro magnums...and they worked great...but you have to clearance the valvecovers and adjust them....Im looking for a stock upgrade for my C5 and Ave. Just piece of mind I never have to see needle bearings on my oil drain plug like I did with the TA...reason I went to the 383. I bet Ive personally seen at least a hundred cases of the stock rockers failing...and im not looking for it.

I guess im getting lazy.

Not really...just the exhaust side because of the offset and then i see where there are issues with excess wear on LS1s

Yep, addicted to the LS6 and Maggies.

Had to put one on Mr. Vette since the Cad could "keep up" with it.

Also, I have the 1500 system in the Cad, and one sitting on a bench waiting to be put in Mr. Vette.

Sam

I had Harlan rebuild mine for $250.00, he's a local Cleveland company no less. They look darn stout when you get them back....
