im getting an ls1 ls6 383 stroker shortblock , now could i get my heads rebuilt , and get a bigger cam with the engine ? or should i get some LS2 heads ? what kinda cam would be good in the 383 ?

 

What heads are on the car currently (casting #)?? I am running LS6 heads (243's) Ported/Polished with 2.02 intake/ 1.60 exhaust valves (59cc)chambers with a GT1-1 cam ...specs are 229/242 .631/.631 114 CL. I made 484 HP and 440TQ before my latest header/y-pipe change and a much better tune...NUMBERS should be a bit higher now though.
