break in oil???

Default break in oil???

what kind of oil should i use to break in my motor. 347 from w2w with a turbo if that matters. and break in procedure?? should i just take it easy for a few hundred miles, or what. any thoughts would be great

use reg. oil gtx or what ever you want for 500 miles. then change it.

Patman told me GTX 10w40. I did 3K before synthetic, you don't have to wait that long. The key is seatingthe rings with regular motor oil.

I thought the LS1 came from factory with mobil 1?

I believe only the vettes and maybe caddies do, not the fbody.

Havoline conventional oil always does will in analyses, and it's cheap. That's my recommendation.

FWIW, I just run this oil and change it every 3K miles. Used to run Mobile One.
