Default Need some help

First of all, I am giving all the information I have on my problem, but I am in Sweden right now for work and my car is in Michigan. Anyway, what happened is as follows. The car was started to be moved out of the garage, however it cranked really slow and it took 3 tries to get it started. When it started, the engine revved immediately to over 5000 rpms and stayed there.

I had the oil changed 2 days ago and it ran fine all day after it was changed. I put a fuel system treatment in it over a weak ago and have nearly went through the entire tank now. I am obviously not a mechanic and have no idea what is going on at this point. The gas pedal is not stuck from what can be told.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks, Guys!

You probably need to wait till you get back.

If it was cranking slow then the battery may have been low, this might have caused it to rev high to keep the altenrater output up, but 5000rpm seems a little bit OTT.

Does the idle sort itself out after a few seconds?

Might be worth checking the TB and throttle cable to make sure they are fine. Also worth checking stupid things like making sure the carpet/mats aren't pushing on part of the thottle pedal.
