Default flutter noise?

stock internal 2001 trans am m6, 53k. Mods are catback, lid, tb. I get a light flutter sound from driver side block area around 1500 rpm cruising. WOT there is not noise, ping or knock. I'm going to check pushrods in the next week or so. What could cause a flutter sound only at that rpm cruising. I've never missed a shift but I'm not the original owner. I have no SES and all reg. maintenance done.

Check out your AIR check valves, I bet the drivers side is shot.
