Default Need a Y Pipe

yup the gmmg now needs to be heard more.

i will do LTs but they are not in the futre for me as of right now. so i need suggestions of an o/r y pipe. again they will have to fit the manifolds and not lts....


lets face it, that flat y pipe is killing me


ideas anyone??

Take the car to a good muffler shop and let them make if for you.

I think you are in a Rush.. You should Not Pick out a Ypipe unles you have your headers picked out. That is a Given . They Ypipe will not really do anything for your car.as it sits Now. Have Paitients MY friend Relax. When you get your Headers picked out then go shopping for a Y pipe that will go well with them.

I just got my Paccetters for My car. And Next week iwill Be ordering a TSPY

I got my Y custom made, 70.00 bucks and its stainless, this is the way to go, if you have a good muffler shop.

yup i have a very good muffler shop.. they jsut put my gmmg on today...plus the guy has is on formula ws6 so he does his own work very reputible!

i sent him a PM to go that route!

btw what size did you go with?

Just keep the stock Y pipe until you change headers. A aftermarket Y pipe wont be a very big benifit and might not even gain you any HP.
The stock flat one is not bad it just looks ugly.

Actually, the stock cats flow relatively well compared to other high flow cats on the market. ALthough the cats are definately killing the sound. I agree that replacing teh stock Y pipe will do little to nothing for you with stock manifolds. Also, try the external engine forum, this is the wrong one for exhaust questions.
