Is this normal ? So I have the cam installed ( 243/249 .613/.618 ). Everytime I accelerate when the car revs at 2500+ rpm I can hear like slight tapping noise. Only when I give it little gas.. when car rolls, or idles everything is fine. It is really hard to hear anything with this car, but I am very picky and I know my car so I am able to notice every small change. So I dont know if this is normal or not with such big cam. This is a quiet noise... tapping.. this is the best I can describe it.

Does it sound like a sewing machine? Do you have dual springs? Are you using 7.400 pushrods on an ~1.450 base circle cam? If you answered yes to these questions, chances are youve got normal valvetrain noise.
Youre valvetrain geometry is most likely out just a touch with those 7.400 pushrods. You could install some 7.425 or even 7.450 pushrods to try and quiet it down some, but its not necessary. You shouldnt have any detrimental effects running like that. Youll get used to the noise very quickly.
