engine flush ok. so i didn't know were to post this ? so sorry if its in the wrong area. ok my ? is do those engine flush in a bottle work or not? will it hurt anything if i use it. i used it on my honda when i first got it. i don't know if it worked but it made me feel better. you know like i was really helping the car. thanks for the feedback.
i use amsoil engine flush...no it wont hurt anything, in fact it is recommended if you are going to synthetic oil from conventional. The amsoil stuff is supposedly alot safer to use than the cheap **** at auto zone. have fun
If you use any engine flush, you'll need to drop the pan afterward to clean out all the crap that went from the engine to the pan. Trust me, I learned this the hard way on a Grand Cherokee with the 318 that decided to lose oil pressure when it wanted. A better all around solution to clean sludge is www.auto-rx.com. PM Patman, the oil guru on here about this stuff. He'll tell you all you need to know.
