Something is wrong... NOT ?
Ok I know that 4000+ stall is recommended for autos with big cams like mine for example ( 243/249 .613/.618 110 LSA ) and higher gears. Well I have a feeling that its either too big or something is wrong with my transmition. It just slips way too much ! I mean I just had my 1st race today on the street against motorcycle it was a 750 or a 1000 not 100 sure. Anyway.. he got on it .. I punched it same time... jumped on him by like half a car... ( he downshifter right away ) and then he started pulling on me little by little and took me by like 2 motorcycles at the end of my second gear. We raced off the roll ( 40mph). I had a feeling that if not that freaking slippage... I would take him. I mean car screams like hell..it goes pretty good.. but I feel it slips way too much. Help me here.. should I check the trans all over ? Should I go with lower gear ? or smaller stall ? lets say 3800 ? Or am I expecting too much out of this car since its only a cam car ?
Thanks
Thanks

Um, dude, any decently new bike will smoke you. I wouldn't blame the tranny. My buddy's '99 SS (Vortech pushing 10-12lbs boost) puts down 532 at the wheels and got smoked by a GSXR 1000.
Well I wasnt really concerned about loosing to a bike. It just feels like the freaking HP that the motor makes goes somewhere else... TRANNY ! Like maybe half of it gets to the rear. I dont know... I think big cams, stalls, gears .. its all about 1/4 mile at the track, all about 60 foot...
