Default Which cam and what valvetrain?

Ok. I have the 241 cast heads on my car and I want to keep them on there.

What do you guys reccomend for valvetrain upgrades? I have a set of LS6 springs on the way. Or I may just hold on to them and get these http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...661489f1368683

Any how. Which lifters and rockers do you guys reccomend and which cam.

I'm looking for over 400rwhp with good daily drivability and I don't want to have to worry about valve float at above 6krpms.

W/ lid, ported tb, LTs, ORY, and magnaflow catback I put 351rwhp and 350rwtq so I don't have that much further to go.

I am thinking about a cam a touch bigger then the f14.

If you were planning on leaving th heads on then you don't want lifters.
2nd: If you were going to run LS6 springs, then your cam is probably small enough still that you don't need lifters.
3rd Keep the stock rockers, or atleast the stock ratio.

F-14: use 918's or a dual valve spring. LS6 will be almost like using stock springs.

i don't think the ls6 springs can handle alot of lift but i could be mistaken.the 918s are good for alittle over .600 but if you're planning to run a stick alittle larger than the f14 i'd try to run the biggest springs i could fit.

TRak cam, not a huge cam, but its got some lift on it. Drives great, and makes more power than most of the huge cams out there. You will need the 921's though.

Ok........new deal here. I'm not doing a cam till at least mid next year and I will be doing heads at the same time w/ fast 90/90.

What do you guys recommend for upgrading the stock valvetrain to make it more stable? I still want to have alot of fun with this car until then.

I'm thinking

1. hardend 7.4 pushrods (not wanting to break anything)
2. putting in those LS6 springs I have (a little higher rpms stability)
3. 1.8 rockers (get a little more lift and efficiency and power)
4. ?????

This guy did quite well with a small cam, headers and a tune in a GTO. An F-body should do even better.
